Energy Psychology Research
According to the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology, over 100 investigators from 7 different countries have conducted research on Energy psychology modalities. To date, over 80 studies have been published, all with positive results. Forty-three of those studies were randomized, controlled trials – considered the gold-standard of scientific research.
Four meta-analyses have also been completed. In three of them, large effect sizes were found. In the 4th, a moderate effect size was found. Meta-analysis is a statistical process in which data from multiple studies are combined for the purpose of yielding information about the overall efficacy of Energy Psychology modalities.
The results of the research described above have been published in over than 15 different peer-reviewed journals, including the following: Journal of Nervous and Mental Disease, Journal of Clinical Psychology, and the APA journals Psychotherapy: Theory, Research, Practice, Training and Review of General Psychology.
